It Was A Great Weekend of Serving and Reconnecting

This past weekend, we enjoyed catching up with some counselors during our annual Fall Staff Reunion! There was good food, games, reminiscing, and a day of service in Chimney Rock together…see more pics on our Instagram post!

Alli and her husband Josh outdid themselves with Friday night dinner, serving personal pizzas, fries, and delicious wings at a cookout in the Gym! On Saturday we joined Spokes of Hope, a Christian-based disaster recovery non-profit, who has been helping to clean up and rebuild Chimney Rock.

While many North Carolina towns hit hardest by Helene were not previously ready to welcome volunteers, some are now able to accept help and additional manpower! Please see this link if you can jump in and volunteer after Hurricane Helene. Spokes of Hope will be helping specifically in Chimney Rock through Christmas, at the least.

It was great to reunite with staff and alumni for a short weekend - we are even more excited about getting the whole crew together again in May for the 2025 summer!

On Campus This Fall & In The Spring

The staffing team has enjoyed getting out on campuses this fall and will be doing more of that as we finish out the year. We’ll also be on numerous campuses this spring, so holler if you know of a good time to come your way!

So far this fall we’ve been to Samford, Furman, Anderson, UT Knoxville, Wake Forest, GCSU, GA Southern, Toccoa Falls and Young Harris.
