It’s Almost Spring…Need A Break?
There’s not much green on the trees yet, but spring will be here before you know it, which means summer is not far behind. There’s lots to do to be ready for the coming adventure…let’s start by wishing Happy Mar/Apr Birthdays to the following 2025 staff!

The “11 Week Adventure” Starts Next Week!
Speaking of having lots to do before summer, our Couch to Camp campaign will provide you with weekly info to make sure you’re ready for the roughly 11-week summer adventure ahead. #11WkAdv starts next week (March 10th), so check the socials and look for an email as well!
Each week will have a theme with different resources and tips to set you up for success this summer! There will be videos, blog posts, live Discord Q&A sessions, raffles, and more. These staff resources will be shared on our social platforms, the staff blog, and Discord, as well as sent to your email inbox each week.
If you miss a post or want to see all the links in one place, we’ll be updating a page on the staff website weekly to keep all the “Couch to Camp” details in a convenient location. Check your emails soon for the link and password.
Save the Dates
Here are a few other important dates to remember or things to do in the weeks and months ahead:
Next All-Staff Call: April 24th at 8 pm eastern. Invites will go out in April.
Campus Visits: UGA 3/19; Hampden-Sydney 3/20; UT Knoxville, 3/26; Lee University, 3/26; ND State 3/26; USC 3/31; ACBA 4/1; The Citadel 4/2; College of Charleston 4/3. If you’re close, plan to come see us!
Forms due by May 1: Schedule that doctor’s appointment now! Get tax forms into Workbright so they stop texting you! Chip away at EOT so it’s not all left to do right before you come to camp.
Father/Son Weekend events: If you think you could join us May 9-11, 16-18 or 23-25…or possibly Aug 22-24 (and we haven’t already discussed it with you), please fill out this brief Weekend Event Interest Form, and we’ll be in touch! It’s a fun way to earn $300 for about 48 hours of easy work!
Do You Know When to Arrive at Camp?
There are many different start dates for summer staff, depending on the roles everyone will play.
Related to some of these sessions, we do have particular staffing needs we’re still looking to fill. They include archery, blacksmithing, disc golf, fly fishing, guitar, paddling, pickleball, pottery, rock climbing, singing, theater and woodworking…and we’re looking to fill all those spots with male cabin counselors. If you know a guy you feel would make a great counselor, you can earn a $400 referral bonus if you send him our way and he completes his contract.
Though your start times may be different, every single one of you is an important part of this special Falling Creek family! We look forward to having each of you on the mountain this summer. For now, enjoy the coming spring!
