The 2026 Staff Application is now Live!
Hello friends! As of this morning, the 2026 staff application is now live online at teamfallingcreek.com! If you already know that you plan to re-apply, feel free to jump on it. We hope to identify line leadership and many activity leaders before the holidays, so applying sooner is better than later! And if you have friends who are new to camp that you’d like to see apply, please encourage them to submit the Interest Form. It’ll be fun to watch the new team start to come together!
While looking forward to what lies ahead, we’re also doing a good bit of review at this time of year. We’re an accredited member of the American Camp Association, and each fall they host their virtual ACA Staffing Summit. If you’d like to improve the larger camp industry by sharing with their Summit team some of what you learned and experienced this summer, we invite you to fill out this anonymous survey. Thanks for considering it.

What’s Up At Camp? What’s Up With You?
Our summer adventure together has come to an end, but the adventures continue! While some of you had to get straight to school or back to work, others of you have extended your time together, all around the world.
As seen above, Webby, Tyler and Aryan enjoyed some travels out west. On the right, Sam, Maria, Lilly and Kara visited Charleston, and a big group reunited in Mexico. Gregor, Dan, Sunny, Jaden, Aubrey and Ben reconnected in Nashville before heading different directions, while Erik S and Winston had some fun on the water in Fairhope, AL! It’s fun to see those camp connections continue to live on - one of the great things that comes from being a part of this community!
Here at camp, we’re closing down some areas while keeping others open, in anticipation of hosting the state’s Youth Camp Association (NCYCA) bi-annual meeting on Sept 25th. We’re also pleased to host the wedding of Carson Skidmore (camper ’09-’12, staff ’18-’22) and Madalyn Equi (staff ’21) later this month as well!
We’d love to hear from more about your post-camp adventures, even if you’re just back on campus. Please sent photos and updates our way on Discord or through Instagram. We pray for continued safe travels and for an excellent fall semester/season for all of you!
See You On Campus This Fall?
Fall is an awesome season for so many reasons. Getting to visit a handful of college campuses and see many of you is always a great pleasure for us! We enjoy catching up with summer staff, and we love meeting friends as well. That $400 referral bonus is a welcome addition to anyone’s pay sheet!
All of our travel plans are not set yet, but here are a few spots we know we’ll have a presence in the coming months. Stay informed via the college tours page for updates. Holler if we can come your way!

- Oct 7 - Clemson University, SC - RUF Camp Night
- Oct 22 - Samford University, AL - Camp Expo (Hope to visit Auburn, too!)
- Oct 31 - Montreat College, NC - Adventure Education Conference
Zach, Will and Jeff will be doing these staff-specific travels, but Yates will also be on the road recruiting campers in places like Richmond, VA (10/8), Lexington, KY (10/15) and Houston, TX (10/20). You can see his full movie show schedule here.
Thanks for all your hard work this summer! We hope to get to come your way this fall, and we’d love to meet some friends who might be able to join the team for summer 2026. Think on it, and stay in touch with us!
